Works to refurbish an existing care facility into fit for purpose accommodation and communal spaces have been completed in Bromborough. The property forms an integral part of a larger site for Autism Together who are now using this revitalised facility for respite care.
Legat Owen were appointed to oversee refurbishment works on behalf of the client as project monitors. This evolved into a project management role during the coronavirus lockdown during which time additional supervision of works progress and site safety was required.
The property is now partially occupied by Autism Together’s clients who are benefitting from specialist care.
Speaking about the refurbishment works, Jane Carolan, Deputy CEO at Autism Together, commented:
As a critical project to Autism Together we needed additional resource to manage the refurbishment and turned to Legat Owen who provided professional and robust project management. Despite the additional challenges of the coronavirus lockdown they supported us to ensure that the project was completed as quickly as possible and is now providing people with autism and their families much needed respite care.
Chris Marsh, Chartered Building Surveyor, Legat Owen, continued:
Despite the challenges presented, the project team has pulled through and provided this fantastic charity with the facilities they need. We were keen to provide extra support during this challenging time to ensure the project was completed as quickly as possible.
Legat Owen’s Building Surveying team provide experience in managing all types of construction projects.
