Acting on behalf of Moneypenny, we are pleased to have identified and now secured the Development Bank of Wales in the former Moneypenny offices on the Wrexham Technology Park. The Bank has acquired the ground floor of 5,000 sq ft on a 5 year lease and the first staff will be moving in shortly. A further 5,000 sq ft is available on the first floor. The development bank is targeted to have an impact of more than £1 billion on the Welsh economy over the next five years.
Will Sadler of Legat Owen said:
The letting was achieved following an intensive marketing campaign across Wales and NW England during which number of occupiers expressed interest. The building offered flexible open space with the ability to sub-divide and following a short period of negotiations, terms were agreed with the bank. The letting is a further boost to the local economy and follows on from a number of other high profile lettings in the area including Chetwood Financial Services, Pendine Park, and Whittingham Riddell.
Economy Secretary, Ken Skates said:
I am absolutely delighted that the lease has now been signed for the Development Bank’s headquarters which will accommodate 50 quality jobs here in Wrexham.
