We’re delighted to announce that Spinning Gate Shopping Centre in Leigh, which Legat Owen manage on behalf of Atmore Group, has achieved National Silver status in their 7th consecutive Green Apple Environmental Award for environmental best practice.
The centre received its award at a prestigious awards ceremony at Kensington Palace, London earlier this week. This latest award follows their previous environmental successes and their first International Excellence Award for Corporate Social Responsibility achievements which they received earlier this year.
This latest award celebrates the centre’s commitment to sustainability through various innovative recycling initiatives that have reduced its waste volume and lowered the centre’s carbon footprint.
