Chester property experts Legat Owen are pleased to announce the successful letting of 35 Lower Bridge Street, Chester to award-winning Abba Cakes.

Chester will be Abba Cakes’ second site, following the success of their shop in Hoylake, Wirral.  The new Chester property comprises 566 sq ft of prominently positioned retail space in the heart of the city.

Founded by Colombian-born patisserie chef Laura Alejandra, Abba Cakes is known for its beautifully crafted cakes and desserts, blending Latin and Mediterranean influences.  The bakery caters to weddings, birthdays, special events and everyday indulgences, and also offers catering services including dessert selection boxes and charcuterie-style grazing tables.

Abba Cakes recently gained national recognition by winning the top accolade at the Britain’s Best Cake Awards 2025, where their signature chocolate cake was officially crowned Britain’s Best Cake, and also taking home the Classic Cake Award.
