Gareth and Elliot 400km in 40 hours bike ride for charity

Two members of the Legat Owen team have successfully completed an epic 400km cycling challenge as part of the firm’s 40th anniversary fundraising campaign.

Over 15 and 16 August, Gareth Joyce and Elliot Jones cycled from Chester to Holyhead and back, covering an impressive 400km (248 miles) in just 40 hours. The challenge took them across North Wales and Cheshire, raising funds for four local charities that provide vital support within our communities:

The challenge forms part of Legat Owen’s 40th anniversary celebrations. As we mark four decades of providing trusted, independent property advice across the commercial and residential sectors, we have set an ambitious target of raising £40,000 for charities that make a meaningful difference across the region.

Gareth and Elliot’s achievement is a remarkable contribution towards that goal, demonstrating outstanding determination, resilience and commitment to supporting local causes.

The pair were joined for sections of the route by colleagues Will Sadler, Matt Pochin, Will Rees and Sam Tarjomani, whose support and encouragement helped keep the challenge on track throughout the two-day ride.

Completing 400km in just 40 hours is no small feat, and everyone at Legat Owen is incredibly proud of what Gareth and Elliot have accomplished.

Donations to support the fundraising campaign are still welcome, with every contribution helping us move closer to our £40,000 target while supporting the fantastic work carried out by these four charities.
